The Vector V28R has a formidable pedigree. Its forerunner, the B28, was banned from competitive racing over a five-year period for being a literally unbeatable design. The renowned ‘batwing’ carbon fibre and Kevlar® hull ensures that the V28R remains stable at very high speed while allowing for much tighter and faster turns than other equivalent-sized boats.

 

This makes it fast yet forgiving in high-speed manoeuvres. The iconic design and multiple-engine options make the V28R suitable for a variety of applications including racing and island-hopping, but it is equally accomplished as a day boat or simply as a superyacht tender. The V28R is also available in a hard-top configuration for competitive or endurance use.

 

Independent studies have confirmed that the Vector V28R is the highest-performance powerboat available in the sub-30ft range. Both inboard and outboard engine options are standard to suit leisure as well as pro-am endurance racing requirements. The standard V28R outboard package delivers more power and torque than a McLaren MP4-12C Supercar.
